‘The Other Woman’, this week’s episode of ‘Mad Men’, knocked the wind out of me. I came away from it feeling dejected and unsettled. It was affecting enough to be one of those moments in television that we’ll remember for years to come.

SNL said farewell to Kristen Wiig at the end of the season 37 finale with a brilliant performance of “She’s A Rainbow” and “Ruby Tuesday” by the Rolling Stones, introduced by Mick Jagger and led by Arcade Fire. It was so sincerely beautiful.

I rediscovered Donna Summer after hearing ‘Feed The Animals’, the incredible remix album by Girl Talk, in 2008. GT’s brilliant sample of Donna’s “Bad Girls” led me to check out the rest of her catalog and come to better appreciate what she brought to the world of music. So thanks, Girl Talk, and goodbye, Donna. We’ll miss you.
